Ian's 1st Professional Cut

A little over a month ago, I attempted to cut Ian's hair.  It didn't go well.  He was crying hysterically and ended up with an uneven cut.  It was hardly noticeable and since I always have Ian wearing a hat, I wasn't too embarrassed to have it professionally fixed at the time.

Ian gets hot easily and he seemed to be pulling at his hair lately so I finally found the time to take him for his 1st professional cut.  He still cried the whole time, but it was easier to bare since I wasn't doing it.

I took Ian to Sharkey's Cuts for Kids. They have cute car chairs with cartoons playing for younger kids and regular chairs for the older kids/ moms to hold little ones.  Of course, I chose the jeep with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse playing.  Even with that and a lollipop, Ian stood up and had a tight grip on me as he cried the whole time.  The lady cutting his hair (sorry I forgot her name) did a great job.  I don't know how she can do it all day.  At the end, Ian calmed down and earned a balloon.

Overall, I'm pleased with his new look.
It just makes me a little sad that he looks older..growing up too fast.

I'm hoping to upkeep the cut my trimming it in a week or so.
Let's see how that goes..
